Nick Steele Osteopath
Evidence-informed support for persistent low back pain
Nick Steele Osteopath
M.Ost Med, B.Clin.Sci
Nick Steele has been practising as an osteopath since 2012 and has been part of the team at Newquay Osteopaths since 2016. He supports people of all ages and activity levels, helping them manage a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions.
A typical clinic day for Nick involves working with individuals presenting with diverse concerns—from sports injuries and pain related to everyday activities to supporting movement and comfort in infants and children.
Nick’s aim is to support and improve each patient’s overall health and wellbeing. His approach focuses on reducing pain and discomfort while helping people move with greater ease, confidence, and resilience. He combines hands-on osteopathic treatment with clear education, practical exercises, and self-management strategies, ensuring that care is always patient-centred and tailored to the individual.
Alongside traditional structural osteopathic techniques, Nick also offers cranial osteopathy and medical acupuncture where appropriate.
He has a particular interest in supporting recovery from persistent back pain, working with adults experiencing chronic, recurrent, or flare-driven symptoms.
Nick completed his osteopathy training at Southern Cross University in Australia, undertaking a full-time five-year programme. He graduated in 2012 with a Master of Osteopathic Medicine and a Bachelor of Clinical Science (Human Form and Function).
Nick is registered with the General Osteopathic Council (UK).
